The mission was to showcase the impact of YouTube content and creators on popular culture.
I worked closely with We Are Social and 18 YouTubers to celebrate the different content types, ethnicities, and subscriber levels across the platform.
A personalised ad was developed for each of the 18 creators.
This ad unit spanned an entire hallway in Oxford Station to give passersby the feeling of being on a “Walk of Fame.” The floor was skinned to resemble a red carpet, while lifesize images of each creator spanned the walls and ceiling.
The ceiling features an easter egg for those who look up; one of our creators (Colin Furze) can be seen flying with a jetpack. Colin also wears a jetpack in the hero video - this was a fun way to tie the two pieces of creative together.
Each creator developed original content to promote the campaign.
